 Many times you can use replacement parts that meet the original equipment specifications; however, sometimes you need replacement equipment that can handle tougher applications. We use six different core designs to build our charge air coolers, oil coolers and radiators to ensure they can handle even the most extreme applications.
 

We can build any of our heat transfer products using any of these designs. We can even build our radiators using the Heavy Duty and Ultimate Duty designs. All of our oil coolers use our Ultimate Duty C-Bar design, meaning they can endure a lot of abuse. Take a look at our designs and see what will meet your needs.

C-BAR OIL TUBE

Extreme Duty


Our extreme duty C-Bar oil tube design is a direct replacement for traditional bar & plate design. Our C-Bar oil tube is designed to eliminate thousands of potential leak points. Is recommend for compressed air applications up to 800 PSI.

This core comes standard with non-louvered fin (10 FPI), but can be built with louvered fin (12 FPI) upon request.

EXTRUDED MICRO TUBE

Heavy Duty


Our micro-tube design is a great option for extruded heavy duty radiator applications. This tube is also suitable for low pressure oil cooler applications that don’t exceed 90 PSI.

This core comes standard with non-louvered fin, but can be built with louvered fin upon request. A header is also required.

C-BAR AIR TUBE

Extreme Duty


Our extreme duty C-Bar airtube design is suitable for any and all automotive and industrial applications that do not exceed 500PSI. This tube is not recommend for compressed air applications.

This core comes standard with non-louvered fin (10 FPI), but can be built with louvered fin (12 FPI) upon request.

EXTRUDED AIR TUBE

Medium Duty


Our medium duty extruded charge air cooler tube is an upgrade to most O.E. automotive charge air cooler and industrial charge air cooler applications.

This core comes standard with non-louvered fin (10 FPI), but can be built with louvered fin (10 FPI) upon request. A header is also require.

Offered in 6 different sizes:

 STUFFED AIR TUBE

Standard Duty


Our standard duty stuffed air-tube is for charge air cooler applications only. This tube replaces most O.E. automotive charge air coolers.

This core comes standard with louvered fin only, and is headered.

RADIATOR TUBE

Standard Duty


Our standard tube design is for radiator applications only.

Our 2 row radiator core comes standard with louvered fin (14-16 FPI), although nonlouvered
(10 FPI) is an option. This core is also headered, and can be made with or with channel.

When you all you need is a replacement charge air cooler that meets the specifications of the manufacturer’s original equipment, then our Standard Duty stuffed tube design is what you want. This is the standard design that we use when building all of our stock charge air coolers. It consists of stuffed tubes mounted on headers. The tanks are then TIG welded to the headers. These charge air coolers will perform well for equipment that operates in an average working environment and receives normal wear and tear.
