Extruded Tanks

Contact Us

When we construct coolers using our C-Bar design, we use solid aluminum extruded tanks that can withstand additional pressure and heat. If you need this type of material for your own project, you can purchase it directly from us.

What are extruded tanks, exactly? They are aluminum tanks produced as a solid piece of aluminum. That means there are no weld points on the tank itself that could possibly fail. The inside of the tank is rounded in the corners which allows it to handle additional pressure and heat. These tanks are made using 6061 aluminum alloy, which is excellent for various uses. Whether you’re replacing the tanks on an existing intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler or need them for a special project, these tanks will stand up to virtually any type of abuse. We offer a variety of sizes to fit your needs, as well as end plates, baffles, hole drilling, and cutting to length. Here are the details:

  • Tank Width Sizes and Price – widths are measured from outside wall to outside wall. We carry two different length legs (or height) and all the materials come in eight (8) foot long sections but can be cut to length (see Cut and Hole Charges below).
