BT 5181 – Aluminum Caterpillar 328D Hydraulic Excavator Oil Cooler

The all aluminum BT 5181 heavy duty oil cooler is an exact fit, OEM replacement for Caterpillar 328D hydraulic excavators. Manufactured in the USA using controlled atmosphere brazing, the epoxy-free core is built using our heaviest duty heat exchanger design that is capable of withstanding tremendous heat and pressure. The header-less core is made using solid, extruded tubes and the U-channel aluminum tanks are TIG welded directly to it. Since there is no header plates used, this eliminates thousands of potential failure points. The core measures 38.75 inches from tank to tank, 21.52 inches from side to side, and 6.30 inches thick.
