BT 1106B Recore – Freightliner Charge Air Cooler

The BT 1106B Recore all aluminum charge air cooler recore service allows us to take the existing charge air cooler from your Freightliners and replace the old core with a brand new one. This gives you a like new cooler while also saving you money versus buying an entirely new unit. We will reuse your existing tanks (provided they are in good shape) while still eliminating all points of failure from the existing core. Manufactured in the USA using controlled atmosphere brazing, the epoxy-free core measures 31.38 inches from header to header, 22.08 inches from side to side, 2.76 inches thick, and 3.00 inches inside the header. We will TIG weld the aluminum tanks on to the core to ensure the strongest possible bond.
