BT 5168 – MMD AirPro 70 Rotary Screw Air Compressor Oil Cooler

The all aluminum BT 5168 oil cooler is an exact fit, OEM replacement for MMD AirPro 70 rotary screw air compressors. It is a heavy duty oil cooler that benefits from our heaviest duty heat exchanger design. Manufactured in the USA using controlled atmosphere brazing, the epoxy-free core is made up of solid extruded tubes that are capable of withstanding tremendous heat and pressure. The core measures 12.00 inches from tank to tank, 13.67 inches from side to side, and 2.25 inches thick. Header plates are not used on the core. Instead the aluminum tanks are TIG welded directly to the core to give it the strongest possible bond and eliminate numerous failure points. The tanks themselves are also extremely durable thanks to their thick walls and U-shaped interior that allows them to handle additional pressure and heat.
